How We Build Precast Concrete Homes

1

Operations Year-Round

We precast insulated concrete panels for walls and roofs in our indoor facility year-round.

2

Project Kick-Off

We offer a choice of floor plans, or we can adapt yours to use our concrete panels. Our precast concrete modules can speed construction of multi-unit developments.

3

Ground-Breaking

After building a concrete foundation on your site, we deliver the pre-fabricated concrete panels to construct the shell of the home.

4

Move-In

In the final weeks, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and insulation are completed along with fixtures and finishes.

Move-in can be within 60 days from kick-off.

Our Precast Concrete Homes

We currently have several one story floor plans available ranging from 600 square feet to 2600 square feet.

Our "Building Blocks":
Precast Insulated Concrete Panels

We build modular homes with the most common construction material in the world -- concrete.

> Precast in Factory

 >Concrete panels and modules, or "building blocks"

> Suitable for Homes of Any Size

 >From 500sf and up

> Quality Control Begins in the Factory

 >Exceeds typical construction standards

> Quicker Construction than Wood Frame

 >Constructed on-site in less than 60 days

Instead of wood framing, we use insulated precast concrete panels.

Why Concrete is Better than Wood

Let's face it--nature sometimes produces disasters. You want the ability to withstand or repair the damage.
We believe that the right home in the Southeast Texas climate is a fortified home. . . an Ecocast Home!

Concrete homes can withstand damaging winds and flying debris better than wood frame homes.

Resistant to Hurricanes and High Winds

Concrete does not burn, unlike the wood frame in traditional home construction.

Resistant to Fire

Concrete is a barrier to rain and flood water, while wood absorbs water and deteriorates.

Resistant to Floods and Water Damage

Concrete is not organic, so pests like termites, mold, and dry rot fungi are not problems.

Resistant to Pests

10 Reasons to Choose an

Ecocast Precast Concrete Home

1
A Better Value

Beautiful and a great value with many advantages over wood-frame construction.

2
More Durable

Concrete structures are more durable than wood, resist deterioration, and require less maintenance--think "Roman Colosseum" or "Hoover Dam". Unlike wood, there is no worry about dry rot or pest infestation.

3
Faster Construction

We use a quality-controlled factory process to build your walls and ceiling (with steel-reinforced concrete panels) that exceeds typical construction standards, then we assemble your home onsite. Your entire home can be move-in ready in about 60 days, with only an average of two weeks disruption to your community for onsite construction.

4
Excellent Sound Barrier

A precast concrete home is quieter than a wood-frame home providing more privacy within the home and added buffering from external noises.

5
A Safer Choice During A Disaster

Unlike wood frame construction, concrete homes are resistant to high winds, up to F5 hurricanes, floods, and fire.

6
Rock Solid Home "Shell"

Walls and ceilings with cut-outs for windows and doors are built with our precast steel-reinforced concrete panels. The home is a built upon the foundation and becomes a rock solid "shell".

7
Personalized Styles Available

Customizable with exterior styles and interior finish options

8
Naturally Energy-Efficient

Concrete homes are cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. So, heating and cooling costs should be lower and smaller HVAC systems could be used, making it a better choice for coastal climates.

9
Locally Sourced Environmentally-Friendly Construction

The concrete we use is locally produced with natural and recyclable materials.

10
TDHCA Code Compliant

Ecocast Homes meets or exceeds the construction standards required by the Texas Department of Housing.
